The X-Alps 2023 riders showed what the Zeolite 2 is capable of. It is the lightest of our high performance sails, designed for pilots who need an absolute minimum weight and maximum performance to carry out the most ambitious bivouac flights and participate in Hike and Fly competitions. the most noted. The Design
The new profile benefits from our latest advances in speed and handling, mainly due to a new positioning of the air intake. The aspect ratio, very slightly increased, remains moderate for this category of wing and allows the wing to be used in harsh alpine conditions. With 7 more boxes, cohesion and maneuverability in turbulence are further improved while maintaining the low weight of the original Zeolite.
The Flight
With better hold along the rope, particularly at the rear of the profile, we have improved passive safety and closing behavior. Although the profile is better maintained, we have managed to reduce the total drag of the lines. Along the span, we adopted a new architecture composed solely of groups of three cells as developed on the Photon. This makes it possible to obtain the best ratio between the number of diagonal reinforcements and the number of line attachment points, which makes it possible to keep a light structure while improving performance.
