Professional Tandem
The Takoo 6 is a tandem wing designed to meet the needs of the most demanding professional pilots. Its durability and comfort in all situations make it an ideal companion for professional pilots. Adapts to all passengers, guaranteeing an unforgettable experience for both pilot and passenger.
Excellent handling
Piloting the wing is more intuitive, comfortable and easy. Overall, the wing is easier to fly.
The efficiency of the brakes has been optimised, by reducing the pressure on the control to improve the turn. The handling is more direct and requires less travel.
Instinctive take-off and landing.
The Takoo 6 features exceptional progressive inflation and take-off, with immediate take-off, making it easy to take off with all passenger profiles. Landing has been improved thanks to excellent speed recovery.
Comfort and stability
The Takoo 6 features high pitch stability and minimised transmission of wing movement to the passenger to ensure total comfort. The profile is very stable, which helps to reduce in-flight movement while maintaining a constant speed. Both passenger and pilot will enjoy safer, more comfortable flights.
Combination of materials
Different fabrics have been combined to balance the durability and strength of the wing without compromising its lightness. Dokdo 40 and 36g fabrics have been used on the top surface for extra strength, while the bottom surface is made from Dokdo 32g. The bulkheads use a combination of Dokdo 40 and 32g. All lines are sheathed for durability and performance.
Trim system in the risers
The Takoo 6's risers provide access to a wide range of speeds thanks to the trim system. We've colour-coded the positions of the trimmers: the neutral position (green) is ideal for take-off and thermalling. Opening the trimmers increases speed. The red markings indicate the different acceleration positions and make it easy to locate the position of the trimmers. It's also possible to trim in negative by pulling the trim all the way back, to improve sink rate and reduce control pressure when flying with a high load.
