Introduction: The Advance Easiness 4 marks the arrival of the fourth generation of the renowned lightweight reversible harness from the Swiss brand, Advance. Designed for fans of Hike & Fly and pilots seeking a lightweight solution for all types of flying, this harness promises significant improvements in comfort and weight. We had the opportunity to test this newcomer under varied conditions to provide you with a detailed review.

Design and Construction: Right off the bat, the Easiness 4 impresses with its sleek and modern design, available in two attractive new colors: coral red and dusted purple. This harness weighs 2.1 kg, making it up to 200 g lighter than its predecessor, thanks to optimizations in material choice and adjustments in construction. This weight reduction does not compromise durability, with Advance managing to maintain the longevity of the harness.

Comfort and Ergonomics: Comfort is one of the strong points of the Easiness 4. The lumbar support has been reworked to provide a more ergonomic seating position, while a new side lining with a lockable pocket adds to the feeling of comfort, even on long distances. Pilots of all sizes will find satisfaction thanks to specific adjustments for each size: the leg loops are slightly lengthened for size L, and the backpack is optimized for size S with a more snug belt.

Ease of Transport: In backpack mode, the Easiness 4 stands out for its carrying comfort. The straps, inspired by the proven tests during the X-Alps, are wide and equipped with mesh pockets for better ventilation. The backpack has been extensively revised to offer better weight distribution and increased stability, even during the toughest ascents. The addition of accessible pockets in both modes of use (flight and transport) makes the Easiness 4 extremely versatile.

Safety and Protection: The airbag is now permanently integrated, simplifying use while offering increased safety. Feedback from users of the previous version indicated limited use of the option without an airbag, leading Advance to optimize this system. The reserve parachute container remains integrated into the airbag, with the possibility of additional closure for the use of a belly container.
